Joint Operation with Winnebago County ARES®

I've been contacted by Tonya asking our help again this year.

We'll need at least 5 hams. (Net Control and 4 stations) and would like a mobile (bike) operator.

This is a simplex operation.

It's a quick event, last year we were done by noon.

Operating positions marked with an H in a square on the attached JPG..

If you can work it, please send me a PM or email..

(Will announce on the net when the date is closer..)

This should be the way it lays out on Google maps..if I'm right.. I've sent the organizers a link for review and will update the map accordingly.

From Tonya:
Array:
Thank you for volunteering to help with the Arny Johnson Run in the past.

We hope to have another great event this year. Wonder if we can have 50 degrees and 450 runners again??

But great races only happen with great volunteers. That is where you come in.

The runs will once again start/finish at Harlem High School. The 10 mile will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 3. The 5K starts at 8:40 a.m. FYI - that is Easter weekend. Maybe you will have family in town that want to help out???
